Storyline

Having just aired his 2000th radio show, Frasier is shocked to find that he is missing the tape for one of them, June 14, 1996. Daphne admits to having accidentally wrecked the tape and Frasier puts out a call on air for any fan to provide him with a copy should they have it. He obsesses over it all but takes heart when a fan, Tom, calls in to say he has it. Turns out Tom is something of an obsessive himself, having quit his job so as not to miss the show. He also has an entire wall dedicated to Frasier Crane memorabilia. Written by garykmcd

Trivia

There actually aren't anywhere close to 2000 tapes in Frasier's (Kelsey Grammer) cabinet. Each small section contains 12 tapes. There are 6 sections in each columns and 11 columns are completely full. The 12th column contains 3 full sections, the 1st section missing one tape at the bottom and Frasier puts the "2000th" tape in the first slot in the 5th section. This means that in total, there are only 840 tapes in the cabinet. See more »
