Cloris Leachman shines in this greedy episode.

A very well written script, combined with some nice acting, produces a show that will entertain right down to the very end.

It begins when Matt's friend and ex-Marshal, Nate Tatham, comes to Dodge to visit. Nate has left being Marshal in Oklahoma Territory when he felt that someone was out to kill him. While visiting, Matt takes Nate over to the Long Branch and he gets friendly with a new saloon girl, Boni Van Deman, that has just arrived from Texas. But it will be that evening when Nate is found shot in the back that Marshal Dillon believes that Boni may be involved with the murder.

The next morning a boyfriend of Boni, Myles Cody, heard that Boni was in town and comes to see her. They use to run a gambling game together and thought about picking it back up at the Long Branch. Every thing is going well until the War Department agrees to give $500 for information leading to the arrest of the person that shot Nate. Now dollar signs are flashing in someone's eyes and another person in Dodge may receive another injure to the back.

The show was entertaining and the acting very well performed. Cloris Leachman was fantastic as the salon woman just wanting to make her way to California. Her performance enhanced the viewer's experience as she made the entire situation more real. Another nice show as we quickly approach the end of season six.

NOTE- Was odd to see that posters were made up that offered $500 for information about Nate Tatham's (not Taylor) murder. There was no picture or name on the poster but it said 'Dead or Alive'. I can see problems with this type of justice.-
