When Hercules and Iolaus arrive in Laurentia, it's terrorized by the fire-breathing young dragon Braxis, whose latest victim is their Macedonian comrade in arms Zachariah, and war lord Adamis, whose band plunders the villagers. Adamis plans revenge on Hercules, who crushed him five years ago, and spent that time becoming a dragon master, but also has a spy among the villagers and an adulterous traitor-ally, widow Cynea. Iolaus would just kill the dragon, then attack Adamis's men, but Hercules wants all the facts first. Braxis is proved not just bloodthirsty when he spares Zacharaiah's small boy Gyger, who intruded the cave liar for revenge carrying father's sword but gets a dragon's ride. Written by KGF Vissers
