Storyline

On his editor's retirement party, famous author Fletcher Stone collapses and hits his head. The staff has their work cut out for them trying to find out what's wrong with Stone because he has agraphia and aphasia. Besides that, House is out of town. He and Stacy are in Baltimore to meet the Medicaid review officer. Due to bad weather, all flights are canceled so House and Stacy are stuck on the airport. Luckily, as a precaution, Stacy booked a room in a near-by hotel for both her and House. Written by Marco van Hoof <k_luifje7@hotmail.com>

Goofs

When trying to decipher what the aphasic patient meant by the phrase "tackle the bear", Foreman asks him if he meant 'bear' or 'bare'. This does not make sense because, as Foreman himself explained earlier, the patient's jumbled words sound completely normal to himself. So in his mind, he said neither 'bear' nor 'bare' but something completely different, and not even he himself can know which word his impaired brain used to replace the one he actually meant to say. Quotes

Stacy Warner: Our relationship's like an addiction. It's... like...
Dr. Gregory House: Really good drugs?
Stacy Warner: No, it's like vindaloo curry.
Dr. Gregory House: Okay, sure.
Stacy Warner: Really, really hot Indian curry they make with red chili peppers.
Dr. Gregory House: I know what it is. I didn't think it was addictive.
Stacy Warner: You're abrasive and annoying and come on way too strong, like... vindaloo curry. When you're crazy about curry, that's fine. But no matter how much you love curry, you have too much of it, it takes the roof of your mouth off. And then you never wanna see curry for a...

Unlikely plot
22 August 2018 | by drewh-25687See all my reviews

No one would ever fly public (I.e. on an airline) from Princeton to Baltimore. It's about 150 miles driving distance. To fly you would have to drive an hour south to Philly, in which case you're now only 85 miles to Baltimore, or you drive an hour north to Newark. Totally unreal, especially since both Princeton area, and Baltimore are on Amtrak's high speed train line, with more than 15 trains a day making the trip in under 2 hours.

Think about it, an hour to either airport, an hour for security, and an hour to fly. That's 3 hours vs less than that for driving or train. If the plot premise was to have them stranded they should have just placed the conference in a city that made sense to have them fly to.
