One of Jack's Best
aramis-112-80488014 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
After a shaky start (where Don Wilson and Dennis have a good exchange, but then Dennis sings a very unlikely song for him), this show settles into a funny experience for Jack at the "Jack Benny Fan Club Pasadena Chapter" and ends with Jack and his fans (all little old ladies) marching around playing "When the Saints Go Marching In" with Jack leading on his violin. Any time he gets out his fiddle on a tv show, it's worth watching.

Familiar faces: Madge Blake, who was Aunt Harriet on "Batman." Jesslyn Fax, who was familiar from a host of tv shows and movies. And of Benny's old cast besides Don and Dennis, is a welcome, if all too brief, cameo from Eddie "Rochester" Anderson. And Jack gets a chance to bat his baby blues.
