The Sioux are raiding in the Laramie basin and making it dangerous for stage traffic to use the Laramie road. Did You Know?
In this episode the town of Sinclair, Wyoming is mentioned more than once, but it didn't exist until 1924. The "Laramie" series is set in the late 1800's & I'm a big fan of it, but I've also been to Sinclair more than once. The town was originally called Parco, by the Producers and Refiners Corporation & did not exist in the 1800's. The Sinclair oil refinery is there, which has been operated since the 1920's & folks over age 50 may remember seeing a green dinosaur on a white background @ Sinclair service stations -- I sure do! Easy to look up SInclair, Wyoming on the internet. See more
