When a wealthy father is found savagely beaten to death, Detective Goren and temporary partner Bishop find a family album of suspects, including the victim's soon-to-be ex-wife, a nanny who cared for the couple's adopted Romanian sons and a suspicious aunt and uncle. However, after Goren delves deeper into the family's past, his only hope of sorting out the jumble of possible killers is to call for a clan reunion -- in family court.
Did You Know?
Prelone is the brand name for a oral solution of the corticosteroid prednisolone, which is almost identical to the drug in the tablets Mrs. Connors was taking, which were prednisone. It would be unusual for a doctor to prescribe two different corticosteroids as the same time as the risk of serious side effects, like hyperglycemia, would be very high. Prednisolone is usually prescribed to people that have certain metabolic issues that prevent their liver from metabolizing prednisone; unlike most drugs prednisolone does not need to be metabolized first, normally the liver metabolizes prednisone into prednisolone, which is why prednisolone is normally only prescribed to people with liver issues. So it would be very unusual for someone being prescribed prednisolone to also be prescribed prednisone for that reason as well. See more
