Goofs

The gun that Toby Durbin gives his brother, Jeff, for his escape from jail is a Colt Peacemaker cartridge revolver. Toby later tells the Lone Ranger (in disguise) that "that was thirty years ago". If the setting for "The Lone Ranger" is as late as 1885, then the Peacemaker exchange occurred no later than 1855. In fact, cartridge revolvers were not in production and distribution until many years later. See more »

Ranger Hart disguised as an anthropoligist
11 May 2019 | by ebertipSee all my reviews

Dabbs Greer as Toby the stone mason who built the Granite City jail helps Ranger Hart after telling a disguised Ranger of his secret escape hatch in the jail. The Death Gang don't use disguises because they kill everyone they encounter. Greer manages to dodge a bullet at point blank range.
