Storyline

A former student (Rick Weaver in the first of five annual appearances) is accused of the fatal stabbing of his ex-violin teacher, but the murder was actually a hit -- a "reformed" mobster and his lawyer, ambitious for political office, are trying to smoke out the violinist's identical twin brother, a thug with almost no redeeming qualities, to waste him before he goes honest and spills the beans about other crimes. Goofs

When the assassin Green Hat fires one barrel of his shotgun at McCloud, it sounds like he's firing a rifle. When McCloud fires back and Green Hat, in falling, fires the second barrel, it's a normal shotgun sound. See more »

Quotes

Sam McCloud: Excuse me, ma'm, I wonder, eh, could I ask you a couple of questions?
Eugenia Rudell: I'd day it's about time someone did. A dozen policemen and not one word to me. I resent being ignored, young man.
Sam McCloud: Well ma'm, on behalf of all policemen everywhere, I would appreciate the opportunity to rectify that.

this time McCloud is in action

Was I surprised to see McCloud in this episode. The story looked great and our friend do things we aren't used to see. McCloud is running a lot here and he actually jumps on his victims, something I haven't seen before, but not only that. He also has a small fight and he's chasing a car with his police vehicle. Sadly in the chase it's clearly to see that they aren't wearing safety belts.

All over season two we see less of McCloud's boss. Still when he's confronted by him it's fun to watch. The script did remind me of another episode (The Disposal Man) in season two where a father rules over his son and even family. Nevertheless it's still worth watching, this time with a lot of action by the man himself.
