Welden Showcase, Otherwise Average
7 June 2017 | by dougdoepkeSee all my reviews

Bang, bang, Jerry Lawson's dead. Just look at the blood. Then, bang, bang, Jerry Lawson's dead again, just look at the blood. So what's going on. Pam and Jerry North have to figure things out thanks to a mysterious phone call. It's a routine entry, distinguished by the North's bounce and charm, and Ben Welden's mock tough guy who can only talk out the side of his mouth. And catch big-eyed Carolyn Jones, later of the Addams Family, as a blonde. Actually, her career only took off when she went brunette. It's a cheaply produced entry with most of the action taking place in a run-down room. Moreover, the plot's hard to follow once it starts rolling. Still, Britton and Denning could make a trip through Heck seem charming, while Welden gets what amounts to a showcase.
