Yet another Number Two is retiring to make way for a successor,who will receive the hand-over at a ceremony. Number Six hears that a bomb made by the Watchmaker is to be detonated at the ceremony, killing the retiring Number Two and, with the Watchmaker's daughter, goes to warn him. However, it turns out that the intended victim is somebody else altogether and their death could spell calamity for the Village. Number Six must stop this plan.

Did You Know?
"It's your Funeral" refers to "jamming" and "jammers", i.e. constant hoax attempts to keep the authorities busy. The Situationist International referred to some of its activities as being like "radio jamming" in 1968, the year after "It's your Funeral" was aired. Negativland
claims to have invented the phrase "culture/cultural jamming" in 1984 to describe billboard alteration. "It's your Funeral" is perhaps one of the earliest uses of the term jamming in a political context. See more
