In the "Mr. Monopoly" sketch, Damon Wayans was to have one line as a police officer. Unhappy with the lack of roles he was getting on the show, Wayans played his character as a broad gay stereotype as an act of rebellion. Lorne Michaels fired him immediately though he was allowed to return for the season finale. See more »
