After failing to control a riot - actually caused by Homer - Chief Wiggum is discredited and, having formed a successful private law force called Spring Shield, Homer is invited by Mayor Quimby to become the town's new chief of police. His huge success rate, however, makes him unpopular with local mobsters, who try to rub him out and, after he is saved from them by a mystery sniper - who turns out to be Maggie - he returns the badge of office to Chief Wiggum. S13 ends well
26 January 2020 | by studioATSee all my reviews

Series 13 of the show has been a big improvement on the previous one, and although there's been some dud episodes, I've found more that I've liked than not.

Homer becomes a policeman here, and risks the wrath of Fat Tony, in an episode that is one of the series best.

A nice way to end S13.
