What's with the title change?
24 September 2013 | by stones78See all my reviews

You can ignore my attempt at humor for the summary line, as this was a terrific episode, but I find it a bit odd that "they" changed the title from "Flying Sepulchre of Death". Anyway, what's in a name? This isn't the usual formula for this fine show, as the entire segment takes place on an airplane, which was done fairly well for 1972, as it revolves around a woman named Lilly(Jess Walton)who's having visions of the plane going down, and one of her visions has all the passengers in their own coffin, and there's a hazy tint around this creepy vision, especially since Gary Collins(Dr. Rhodes)recently died, and he's one of those in a coffin. There's many familiar faces including Marge Redmond, a very young Sharon Gless, Barbara Babcock(Salem's Lot), and a very fine performance by Ed Nelson, who plays the main pilot, and even though he doesn't believe in Dr. Rhodes' psychic abilities, he eventually needs his help to land the plane, and to help the very sick Lilly, whose moans get a little tiring after a while. I'll tell you that they safely land the plane, but I won't tell you why or how her and Dr. Rhodes' visions figured everything out.
