[last lines]
Davey Kane: There oughta be some words we can say, Luke. You know, not just the ordinary words you say over graves, but somethin' special - somethin' to thank them for what they've done.
Luke Perry: Fittin' words are kind of hard to find, Davey boy. I reckon what we feel inside is more important than just plain words.
Davey Kane: I keep thinkin' about what Mr. Dunlap said about how his folks told him that he had a guardian angel to look after him. I guess you and me were lucky, Luke... We had four.

If you like 'shoot-um-up' westerns, then this will please.

Word around Timberline is that the notorious criminal, Captain Frank Avery, is in the area and has everyone spooked. Avery is known for robbing others but also has a nasty side where he never leaves anyone alive. At the bank, the manager is concerned about the amount of money there is on hand so he asks Luke to carry some to the branch in Outpost. This is overheard by the bank clerk who just happens to be feeding information to Avery. Avery has a team of Indians that assist him on his dirty-deeds and now they are going to go after the Stagecoach when it gets to half-way house.

Luke pulls out of Timberline with a full coach. On the stagecoach is a preacher, a gambler, a fancy lad, a former sheriff that was thrown out of office and Davey. A fine mix of people with different views on life. We will learn much about each character and be surprised by revelations that are revealed. By the time Avery and the Indians attack, we just may learn that the characters are not as different as they appear.

Even though there was bullets flying in every direction, this show was well written and well performed. The different set of characters made the story so interesting that the viewer hated to see the approaching ending. Th casting director needs a 'shout-out' as the actor that portrayed each character could not have been better. If you like westerns then this episode will be entertaining to the max.
