Blake and Anderson investigate a serial killer preying on pretty waitresses that work in Reno's nightclubs. Their only lead is a choker that turns up in a skid row pawnshop that belonged to the latest victim. Based on the description provided by the pawnshop owner, Blake surmises that the murderer may be living in Reno's hobo jungle.
Did You Know?
Lt. Rod Blake
Oh, hello. I'm Rod Blake, chief investigator for the Nevada state troopers. If somebody tells you he's a whizzo at kissing a dog, you'll know, of course, that he's referring to his ability to pick your pockets while he's standing face to face with you. If, later, a cannon took a flop on a dead banger, you'd know he'd been caught red-handed at his trade and sent to prison. I had to brush up on my underworld lingo not long ago in order to close a case called, "The Choker".
