It takes place in Texas in the year 1866, just after the Civil War, and Rory Calhoun plays the chief of a bunch of cow-boys in charge to supply large herds of cattle. But, as you can guess, everything will not get as he expected to. So, you see, nothing exceptional here, but this episode is directed by a western specialist - Allen H Miner - and the story is solid, as sharp as a classic feature which would have been made for the big screen. I am also surprised that this kind of tale is proposed on TELEPHONE TIME series, even as an authentic story. Yes, I am very surprised but, after all, why not?
Pretty splendid settings for a TV show. I enjoyed it anyway, classic, predictable, but a good time waster.
