Quotes

Narrator: [closing narration for "The Last Defender of Camelot"] Once upon a time, there was a realm of myth and magic-a high, bright dream that shimmered briefly and then was gone, leaving only memories and one ageless, weary, slightly tarnished hero who proved at last that wisdom and valor go hand in hand, on Earth, in Camelot, and... in the Twilight Zone.

An Homage to 1950's Sci Fi & A Final Trip To Camelot
25 April 2017 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

I thoroughly enjoyed the first of these. There must be 25 references or visual made concerning 1950's science fiction and monsters. The two main characters are Kevin and Faith (as in Kevin McCarthy and Faith Domergue). The first from "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" and the second "This Island Earth." When viewed, they are taking seed pods out of the space ship. Some of the old horror movie actors are in this episode. Also, references are made to movies like "Tarantula" and others. So much fun. The second wasn't all that exciting. Apparently, Camelot has lived long after its time and Lancelot and Merlin are doomed to meet in combat. The result is disappointing and not all that interesting.
