Am Unseen Face And An Almost-Unrecognizable One

The headline for this episode and a character we only "see" for two short scenes is "The Partner," a man behind the scenes as powerful, if not more, than Al Capone himself. We only get a glimpse or two of part of his face. Whether such a person ever existed, I don't know.

He really isn't the story here. The main subject is Elliot Ness getting other guys and showing great guts and compassion toward his fellow Untouchable "Lee Hobson" (Paul Picerni) Hobson thinks his boss is hogging glory that belongs to him for shooting gangster "Wallace Laughton" but he finds out the truth later on, that Ness was trying to spare his life and, if need be, sacrifice his own.

This was another excellent episode with a nice touch of unconditional loyalty and love. In addition, we see a young Dyan Cannon who did not look like we've all come to know her to look (see thumb-sized picture here on the title page.) There were no long blonde curls but dark hair and a face that okay but not as sensational as it looked by the next decade. In Dyan's case, age did her well.
