Crawly skin
22 May 2012 | by bkoganbingSee all my reviews

There was never any continuity with The Untouchables series as the writers had to continually find new plots and villains for the crack group of Federal agents to deal with. In the last season Robert Stack and the crew were dealing with narcotics which is not anything the real group did. They'd just run out of Prohibition stories.

In this episode Stack is brought in by a Chicago police captain who says that his son has been found to be a hop head. It turns out the junk is being peddled out of a jazz club and we all know how those jazz musicians loved their narcotics.

Heading the gang are club owner Robert Emhardt and booking agent Simon Oakland. But in a small role as a low level peddler in a part that will totally creep anyone out is Robert Ellenstein. His few minutes in the episode will leave you with crawly skin.

Check this one out if it's broadcast.
