Storyline

The mayor of a New York state countryside small town where people lock cars nor houses had to call the FBI for the disappearance of a teenage school girl last seen at the school bus stop. While the team learns about the close community, the victim's confident friend also goes missing. The MO fits similar cases in other inconspicuous places roughly on a line, so it's feared the work of a traveling serial pedophile. Written by KGF Vissers

Goofs

The three dolls sitting next to Annie Miller's computer keep changing positions all through the episode. Most obvious is it when agent Spade is in front of the computer wanting to get the key from around the blonde doll's neck. In the first shot the dolls are positioned brunette, blonde, brunette. When she takes the key the blonde doll is first, later it changes back to brunette, blonde, brunette. See more »

Plot spun from an old Twilight Zone Episode
17 February 2007 | by paulb47See all my reviews

Surprising that I've never seen the connection drawn between this episode and a Twilight Zone episode called "the Monster are Due on Maple Street" That episode traces the growing paranoia of the residents of "postcard perfect" Maple street as they try to identify the alien among them.--one by one they turn on each other.

The alien here is a child molester his/her presence breeds the same sense of distrust among people who normally live side by side as neighbors, relatives, and friends. A

All the townspeople's dirty laundry begins to air but every person with a secret obviously is NOT responsible for abducting and murdering little girls.

In the end Maple Street isn't so perfect after all.
