Goofs

During the "Flying Sheep" sketch, two French experts on "ovine aviation" share one mustache between them, which is worn by whichever expert happens to be giving the lecture at the time. At one point, Michael Palin takes off the mustache and puts it back on John Cleese. In order to hide his laughter, he turns away from the camera immediately afterward. See more »

Quotes

Rustic Shepherd: It's my belief that these sheep are laborin' under the misapprehension that they're birds. Observe their be'avior. Take for a start the sheeps' tendency to 'op about the field on their 'ind legs. Now witness their attempts to fly from tree to tree. Notice that they do not so much fly as... plummet.

Those poor mice!
22 August 2019 | by Stevieboy666See all my reviews

As the previous reviewer has said into episode 2 of series 1 we're now getting some familiar running themes, such as the scruffy old man at the beginning and end of each episode, but in different locations. Same joke really but being Python it never wears thin. Some classic sketches here - the musical mice (ouch!), the hilarious marriage guidance counsellor and the father/son poet/miner role reversal (genius!)
