Did You Know?

In this episode it's stated SpongeBob is an excellent student which is contrary to his school status in just about every other episode featuring Mrs. Puff. However, he's an excellent student because of his politeness and neatness; his "Good Noodle" rewards are for "Attendance, penmanship, basic desk sanitation", etc. See more »

When Spongebob first takes Patrick into the Boating School classroom, he writes Patrick's name on the Good Noodles board in upper-case letters and there are 6 other names above it. After Mrs. Puff walks into the room and tries to introduce Patrick, his name on the board changes to lower-case letters, and another name, Rich, shows up above Patrick's. Then as Mrs. Puff prepares to remove one of SpongeBob's many stars, Rich's name is no longer there, and Patrick's name is again in all-caps. Later, when SpongeBob and Patrick run into each other while carrying Roger the egg and the light bulb respectively, Patrick's name is still in all-caps, but two seconds later, after they've collided and Roger and the light bulb are flying through the air, again only the P in Patrick's name is capitalized. Finally, when Mrs. Puff reveals that she has been observing from behind the chalkboard, as the view pans from Roger's tank to the chalkboard, Patrick's name is again in all-caps. See more »
