Storyline

Second episode in a five part drama documentary exploring the cross-cultural pressures on a 17 year old white girl and her West Indian boyfriend, by whom she is pregnant. Winston, too, tells his mother about Mandy's pregnancy, but relies on her to tell his father. His father does not take the news kindly. He persuades Winston of the folly of a hasty marriage. Mandy decides to leave home and attempts to find a room of her own.
