Storyline

Parkin is reluctant to take action against someone drunk on Boxing Day, but is forced to act when villagers start to complain. Bringing the man, James Robert Moggs, back to the police house Parkin finds his explanation hard to believe. When Moggs then disappears, Parkin makes some enquiries and finds it is more than the man's inebriation that lies at the bottom of the matter.
