Denny walks out on a friend after finding out that the friend is a homosexual, then tries to run out on the office when he catches Shirley kissing Carl. Alan finds speech impossible to maintain around Lorraine. Katie attempts to let Jerry down as gently as possible. In the courtroom, Shirley tries to assist Denny's friend in a lawsuit because the homosexual is a general in the Army and Katie defends a Latin father who allows his son to compete in the bull ring.
