He operated in northern California and he made it very clear to the police and the newspapers that he wanted credit for his murder spree. He taunted the police by sending cryptic letters to both the police and news papers that required someone to solve his puzzle letters that were his cyphers. Not as good as the prior episodes but still decent enough to rate a 7 out of 10

I would have thought since the self proclaimed "Zodiac Killer" made taunting phone calls to the police, sent cryptic letters that contained ciphers to the local newspapers and to several police departments, and he was partially identified by witnesses that more than sixty (60) years later his true identity would have been discovered by now, and his arrest made. This documentary outlines some of the known murders, as well as the attempted murders of some of his survivors and it also outlines the sequence of his crimes (or at least the ones he demanded he be accredited with committing after sending the newspapers/police remnants of his victims clothes that he kept as souvenirs from his crimes).

I rated this episode a few notches lower (7) due to the choppiness of the explanation of the Zodiac Kuller's crimes as they were outlined and in the confusing way the clues were provided to us the audience. I would have liked to have received much more detail on the current status of this closed, then re-opened Zodiac Killer case from some of the current detectives if they are in fact still working on the case file. I mean he was/is a notorious serial killer who took pleasure in taunting the police and putting great fear into the general public's mind. Apparently there was insufficient DNA to attempt a DNA GED match (as there was with the succesful DNA match from the NorCal Rapist, and/or the Golden State Killer) from the saliva found on the stamps on the letters the Zodiac Killer mailed and distributed to brag about his crimes.

I thought this episode would be the most intriguing since this particular serial killer case remains at large for the past sixy (60) years. Maybe he is now dead and buried, never ever telling anyone who he really was, the Zodiac Killer.
