Queen of the South Season 4 Episode 12 Review: Diosa De La Guerra

  • TVfanatic
It was all about family on Queen of the South Season 4 Episode 12 and how that family handles a loss.

When it comes to Teresa's family, a loss must be avenged and Tony's death brought the entire crew back together.

But to Teresa's credit, she wasn't about to start spraying bullets all over New Orleans. She wanted her rage to be focused on the appropriate party.

Teresa: Taking a shipment is one thing. Killing Tony and trying to kill me is completely different.

Pote: Then who else could it have been?

Permalink: Then who else could it have been? Added: August 22, 2019

There was no reason to suspect Judge Lafayette. As Teresa pointed out, she had just paid the man $30 million. He should have been happy, or at least as happy as the man is capable of feeling.

Even Marcel was quick to point out how profitable their relationship with Teresa has been.

‘La Reina del Sur’ Season 2 Drives Ratings Gains for Telemundo

  • Variety
The trials of Teresa Mendoza have been very good for Telemundo.

The sophomore season of the network’s hit series “La Reina del Sur” (Queen of the South) went out on a high note Monday, grabbing 2.2 million viewers and 1.1 million in the adults 18-49 demographic. That was strong enough to make Telemundo the No. 1 network over all broadcast rivals in “La Reina’s” 10 p.m. time slot.

The crime thriller telenovela starring Kate del Castillo has given a competitive boost to NBCUniversal’s Spanish-language network, solidifying its lead over rival Univision in primetime in adults 18-49 and adults 18-34. Throughout its 60-episode run, which began April 22, “La Reina” kept Telemundo broadcast network among the top 3 networks regardless of language in the adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 demos in the 10 p.m. Monday-Friday berth.

“We have had exceptional results from ‘La Reina’ especially in this period where the television industry is facing many challenges,

Queen of the South's Hemky Madera Talks Killer Instincts, Pote's Kitchen, and Romance!

  • TVfanatic
When Queen of the South Season 1 began, Pote Galvez was the hitman sent to kill Teresa Mendoza and her best friend. Now the sicario is Mendoza's right-hand man, valiant protector, and someone she considers family.

What makes Pote different from other assassins in the world of narco TV? Can his newfound romance with Kelly Anne possibly last? And what kind of fun has both Pote and his portrayer found in the kitchen?

Recently, I chatted with actor Hemky Madera about that, another season of Queen of the South, and what else he has on the horizon.

What made you want to play the role of Pote?

I was familiar with the project because of the soap opera, the telenovela, and then I auditioned for it and then read the book.

I really enjoyed that character that chases her and then becomes her protector.

So I thought that was a pretty cool role to jump into.

How ‘Pearson’ Will Usher in a New Storytelling Era When ‘Suits’ Closes Down Shop

How ‘Pearson’ Will Usher in a New Storytelling Era When ‘Suits’ Closes Down Shop
When “Suits” closes the file on its final stretch of episodes this fall, it leaves behind a legacy of nine seasons, 134 episodes, two remakes (in Korea and Japan), a slew of international broadcasters, and a royal wedding that transformed series star Meghan Markle into a global, household name.

The July 17 premiere also marks the official end to USA’s once-popular “blue sky” era, as the slick and aspirational characters bid farewell and the network ushers in the grittier “Pearson” spinoff starring Gina Torres on the same night. Both series are produced by Ucp.

Clocking in at just 10 episodes, the final season of “Suits” is the shortest run of the series, coming in just behind the first season’s 12-episode order. Within that run each of the current series regulars — originals Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty, Rick Hoffman and newer members Katherine Heigl, Amanda Schull and Dulé Hill — will have a dedicated episode to their characters.

Queen of the South Season 4 Episode 5 Review: Noches de Las Chicas

  • TVfanatic
Marcel Dumas was going to take an eye for an eye on Queen of the South Season 4 Episode 5 but the problem with that plan is that everyone goes blind.

This war between Teresa and Marcel began when Teresa made the impulsive decision to cut off her deal with Dumas, but it's gotten to this level due to a perfect storm of circumstances and poor choices on both sides.

Javier now carries the majority of the guilt for this disaster but is that warranted?

When Javier killed Rene, it felt as though it was inevitable. The entitled little punk was determined to poke that bear until it bit, and that Rene didn't expect his actions would end his life made him a fool.

But Teresa expected that Javier could hold his temper and it appears she expected too much.

Bury Bobby. Put Boaz on a plane back to Mexico. If you want to behave like him,
