Trivia

The filming location was a historic theater in Downtown Los Angeles so they were not allowed to drill anchors into the floor for the trapeze net. They ended up bringing in over 40,000 lbs of crane weights to hold it in position. See more »

This Trap Flops
9 April 2008 | by slr_imagingSee all my reviews

While I downloaded this as a free offering on iTunes, I nevertheless feel that I paid too much - essentially 21:45 of my life that I will never get back. The story revolves around a woman whose friends throw her a surprise birthday party. She is insecure, controlling and unhappy with her life. At least we more or less are able to glean that from what little we learn about her from her actions and side comments she makes mostly to herself. While I usually like Jeanne Tripplehorn, I found her wooden and unsympathetic in this role. Not that she had much to work with - the script was vapid and the premise superficial. Avoid this trap.
