When Ryan and Alex try fuming Rachel Hemming's corpse in her home looking for fingerprints, a fire starts, actually resulting from a short-circuited fan, which torches everything when it reaches the meth lab. Horatio suspects the landlord Jeremy Broyles, who has three prior drug-related convictions. On Heming's partially burned corps Eric finds a melted bug and a partial print of her brother Zach, who claims he came from Ohio to get her out of the crime life but just left when she refused. The bug's serial number leads to FBI agent Mike Farallon, who confirms she became his informant to escape a dealer conviction; Mike's wife Linda knew he slept around, as his former colleague Natalia Boa Vista, who recontacts the one he did three years ago before she came to CSI. Rachel was pregnant, actually from Zach. Written by KGF Vissers
