The shadow Home Secretary David Davis MP discusses the current state of conservative policies and the party's preparedness for the possibility of a snap General Election. Germaine Greer talks to Peter about her new book on the life of Anne Hathaway, the wife of William Shakespeare. Douglas Alexander MP, the International Development Secretary, has recently returned for a fact-finding mission to Afghanistan and discusses the British presence there and their future involvement in reconstruction effort. As the Labour party election coordinator, he also talks about the possibility of a General Election before the end of the year! Former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, talks about the current political unrest in her country, her imminent return home to share power with the military government and future democratic elections.
