Anachronisms 

In the fifth episode of the second series, the song "Final Prayer" by British nu metal band Breed 77 was featured in the episode. This is considered to be quite unusual as the song was originally released in 2001, while the second series was set from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s.

Modern cars and license plates feature in some of the first episodes that were set in the mid-1990s.

Factual errors 

Series are set in Melbourne, Victoria. Victorian Number plates have three letters followed by three numbers, all cars in Underbelly have QLD variation of number plates where numbers are followed by letters.
