Storyline

Detective Murdoch investigates the murder of Dr. Francis Grout who was killed by a hooded and robed figure using a crossbow. The doctor worked at the Greyson Institute for the Mind that specializes in researching brain functions and those who have special skills not found among the general population. As the murders continue, the police must find the common link among them. Murdoch is shaken when medium Sarah Pensell tells him she has seen these murders in a vision. While she can't identify the robed figure, she is able to identify the killer's last victim - Murdoch. Written by garykmcd

Arrows kill their victims
9 March 2015 | by ctyankee1See all my reviews

Different people are being killed by a person in a dark hood and no one seems to know why.

The first victim the police find has 3 arrows in the back. He writes on a stone with his blood the letter Wy. The police try to find out if this is a place, an event or part of a person's name.

Murdoch is not getting anywhere with this case. A woman contacts him that says she knows about these killings and Murdoch is going to be one of the victims.

There is a lot suspense in this episode. Murdoch starts to use this medium as a plant in a home that studies the brain.

The series to me has a lot of mystery but hypocritical. Murdoch makes these fast, fake "Sign of the Cross" like a Catholic or Priest like when he gets emotional when he sees a badly hurt person or a dead one but, he gets involved in other things that go against the religion he professes like using mediums an occult religion and listens to their advice. The writers of the show confirm the occult information as credible and believable which I do not believe.

So fake is fake and real is real. Just know this series is based on a detective named Murdoch and not a character who masks as a Catholic.

The good thing about the series is most episodes have a lot of mystery, no swearing, no sexual innuendos.
