(at around 57 mins) Before going underwater in search of the armory, Alice gives Chris one of her revolvers and the other one to Crystal. Later after they are confronted by the zombies, Chris starts shooting with two revolvers, and we have not seen him take the one from Crystal. However, upon closer inspection it's clear that Crystal drops her gun when she gets pulled by the zombie into the water. Just before Alice strikes the next undead, Chris starts to lean to reach the gun so in the next scene he has both. See more »
My name is Alice. I worked for the Umbrella Corporation in a secret laboratory developing experimental viral weaponry. There was an incident. A virus escaped. Everybody died. Trouble was, they didn't stay dead. This was the start of an apocalypse that would sweep the entire world. The men responsible for this disaster took refuge underground and continued to experiment with the deadly T-Virus. They felt secure in their high-tech fortress. But they were wrong.

Due to German regulations and FSK attitude towards violence, a second version was created during post production to secure a more commercial "Not under 16" rating. This version removes or reduces some of the more violent scenes and gore effects (less blood splatter etc.). It was also used in Austria and the German-speaking regions of Switzerland. However, the DVD/Blu-ray release features the uncut version and is rated "Not under 16" as well. Since the FSK guidelines for home media are stricter than for theatrical releases, the cut theatrical version is thus rendered totally unnecessary. See more »
I liked this compilation of scenes. I liked the soundtrack; I liked the acting; I liked the settings; I liked the effects. As a game, it works greatly. The movie is a sum of chunks of stories. Most of them are action stories. A few are horror stories. Another few are mystery stories. And none of them are connected to each other. They just share common characters.
Honestly, the plot is just an excuse for great action scenes. And I liked the action scenes. I rate it zero for the story, ten for the technical quality. And I have to admit it: in the end, I liked it as a whole.
