Two in One

Phased and Confused gave us more of Carter's sister, front and center - and let's be frank, she is a rotten aunt and poor sister, but her free spirit seems to have charmed all of the emotionally repressed scientists in Eureka - so we are stuck with her for a bit. Things are best in Eureka when the townsfolk are at the epicenter of the emotional and practical happenings of the day. This episode managed to rise above the sister's hippie vibe with plot lines that included a superhero appearing in Eureka and Zoe's reckless behavior. Our core characters worked together nicely to pull this episode up into the "enjoyable" range, and it was clear early on that the episode was meant to advance Eva's mysterious season arc, so only time will tell if it was worth all of the secrets, safe contents, and shifty-eyed looks
