Storyline

Kicking off the bloated, two-hour finale of "So You Think You Can Dance?" host Cat Deeley noted that the season had consumed 35 hours of television. Gotta love summer TV.

Six judges sat on the panel for the finale: Mia Michaels, Adam Shankman, Debbie Allen, Lil C and regulars Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe. The night began with a quick video journey back through the season.

Play it again: The top 20 dancers opened the show with a hip-hop group performance. Going back through the judges' favorite performances of the season, Nigel asked Katee and Joshua for an encore of their Bollywood routine that the crowd loved. Mary wanted to see what she called a "match made in heaven," Courtney and Gev's rumba.

Pop go the weasels: Phillip Chbeeb and Robert Muraine, the two great poppers who didn't make it out of the audition phase. They threw their moves back and forth with the crowd erupting for each of them. The judges gave Robert the win, 5-1.
