In New York City, Thom is broke and jobless, illegally working as a taxi driver just to make some quick cash to try and pay his rent. Claire is a successful business-woman, but personally she's in shambles trying to recover from a bump in her marriage and then comes the phone call that her distant father is in the hospital. Not knowing what to do, Claire hops in Thom's cab and orders him to just drive. And so he does. The duo find themselves in Pennsylvania and make the rash decision to drive across the country. On the road to California, there are many detours, as the obstacles and secrets force them to learn about themselves and each other.Written by

Midway through the movie, Claire looses her purse. This is a key plot point. A good view of the purse prior to loss is at 16:12 minutes into the movie. Towards the end of the move as Claire and her husband are saying goodbye (1:21:17 in the movie) the same purse reappears. See more »
Actually, sir, if you could just take a look now, I'd really appreciate it. There's this issue with my landlord. He's kind of on my back. So if you could just, please - please - thank you.
Not bad, nice work, good job. Thanks for coming in.

It's about time we got to see some real talent for movie-making. Without a doubt this was a low budget production but who the hell cares.. The quality of the acting and the story itself puts many so called Hollywood blockbusters to shame. Why wasn't this on general release? Ah OK we all know why.. Stick at it guys.. With this kind of ability I can see great things coming to a screen near us soon. Didn't realise the chemistry so apparent on the screen is for a reason until the credits. Hey. It works so don't knock it.!! Brilliant comic timing, great writing, I'm looking forward to the next one. C'mon guys in Hollywood.. Lend these guys some dosh so they can show you how it's done :o)
