Storyline

With a second member of the Orthodox Jewish community dead, Harry performs a complete examination. This time, Harry does not hesitate to use all examination methods at his disposal and finds forensic evidence that clearly links a third member of the Hassidic community to both deaths. After DI MacKenzie makes the arrest however, Harry realizes he may have inadvertently contaminated the DNA evidence leading to a false result. Nikki retests all of the evidence and together they figure just who the attacker was. Leo Dalton meanwhile tries to prove that the dead student had been given GHB. He concludes that someone also tried to administer CPR. Written by garykmcd

Nobody's Perfect, nor Should They Try to Be
25 March 2019 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

The Hassidic Jews featured in this episode have centuries of pain and have developed a belief that all things can be handled by them within their own realm. The problem is that in our relatively permissive society, these rules are awfully hard to enforce and control. Because one of the Rabbi's children is gay, he is drummed out of the family and seeks those who are really the enemy. There is so much more. Harry gets a strange result on his tests, but because he overlooks a third party, it is thought that he is responsible for a false arrest and a disruption of life for the Jewish people. This is such a fine show, even if it slightly misses the mark.
