Michael jumps from the helicopter, literally 'dropped' by Caral's team and faces arrest. Former special forces colleague Harlan's lawyer manages to get him off the hook. Sam already agreed that Micheal would help save Harlan's girlfriend and her father, who is arrested in Venezuela as part of a massive land smuggle and extortion scheme. Michael poses as middleman so his team plus Harlan can get to the conspirators chief, Refino Cortez. But that's not the end of the danger.
