After notoriously murdering "The Gravedigger," sniper-on-the-loose Jacob Broadsky strikes again. This time, his victim is a prior suspect who escaped the justice system. More determined than ever to catch Broadsky, Booth uses his own military training to beat the sniper at his own game. He vows to go to any lengths necessary to ensure that justice is served. In a heated and dramatic face-off, Booth has minutes to catch Broadsky before he hits an intended target, but Broadsky's skill and speed may prove to be a worthy adversary. Meanwhile, Angela's father visits the Jeffersonian and insists on naming his unborn grandchild.Written by
On Booth's computer, it states that Paula Ashwaldt was born on August 30, 1974, and that she graduated high school in 1998. She would have been 23, turning 24 that August. For the both of the graduation dates to be correct (High School 1998; College 2002), she would have to have been born in 1980 or 1981. See more »
Angela describes the bullets as being 20mm and 25mm in diameter. Those size bullets would be fired from a machine gun or cannon, not a sniper's rifle. For comparison, some large caliber sniper's rifles fire .50 caliber rounds - about 12.7mm in diameter. See more »
Hannah is gone and Booth and Brennan are back! This episode reminded me a lot of my other favorite Bones episodes (first Gravedigger, the Kennedy one, Verdict in the Story). Cool case worthy of the FBI and Jeffersonian plus a great, heartfelt Booth and Brennan moment in the end. Also it was a little less bloody than the first sniper episode which is a good thing in my opinion. Another great thing about the episode is it featured all my favorite side characters including Caroline Julian, Vincent Nigel Murray (my favorite intern other than Zack) and Angela's dad (who I love!). Can't wait to see how the sniper plot pays off (also next week's episode looks awesome).
