Storyline

"American Idol" - Top Two Performance - May 25, 2010

We have moved to the Nokia Theatre for part one of the finale.

Crystal gets confused by walking down the aisle but she and Lee make it to the stage.

Crystal won the coin toss and elected to go second.

Video Package: We get a montage of Lee growing up and he and his parents reminiscing.



Lee Performance #1

Song: "The Boxer," Simon & Garfunkel

Performance: This is a much more nuanced and assured performance but the dynamics are a little extreme from the beginnings and endings of phrases.

Randy: Says it's a great way to start it off. Thought it sounded nice but that he needs more energy.

Ellen: Says he was better that time and she's proud of him.

Kara: Agrees with Randy about energy but liked the personal quality.

Simon: Says this is the big one but he's expecting more passion, a kiss on the lips not on the cheek.

Video Package: We get Crystal's montage and reminiscences from her and her dad.
