Epic in almost all aspects
17 October 2017 | by OlicosmicSee all my reviews

This game is probably the best in the whole Smackdown Vs. Raw series, with its great visuals, great gameplay, great roster, great game mode, and probably the best Road to Wrestlemania I've ever played. The visuals are a massive step-up from 2010, as Arenas look more life-like and the wrestlers look more detailed. The gameplay is also more fine- tuned, as the strikes and grapples feel more tighter, as well as having more variety. The controls are a tiny bit different, but they're very easy to perfect. The roster is pretty great as well, with not only the size of it, but with most of the awesome wrestlers most fans, including myself, want. The game mode is awesome. While Career mode may be gone, what took its place is an amazing rendition of all the shows and pay-per-views in the WWE with WWE universe mode, which, in my opinion, is an amazing idea that's executed well. Road To Wrestlemania is absolutely amazing in this game, as you're able to choose from some superstars or a created superstar, just like SvR 2010, but what's amazing about this version of Road to Wrestlemania is that the player can explore backstage, while forming rivalries or allies. Alongside with the decent stories, awesome matches, and the amount of immersion there is makes this Road to Wrestlemania the best in my opinion. The only flaw about this game is the fact that you can only win/defend a title in WWE universe mode and not in exhibition mode, which sort of sucks, but the amount of pros in this game more than makes up for it, as this game is epic in almost all aspects.
