Where to find it
20 August 2014 | by old film loverSee all my reviews

My thoughts on this abandoned curio mostly echo the other review posted here by kepotaz. The film remains conceptually fascinating (in some ways prefiguring the stretched shooting schedule of Richard Linklater's "Boyhood" by more than two decades). The results don't quite come together, though, and it is no surprise to me that von Trier decided to direct his energies elsewhere. Unessential viewing for all but the more dedicated von Trier completists.

That said, you're probably reading this because you *are* one of those completists, and your most pressing question is how to get ahold of this. The previous reviewer mentioned a few possible sources, but I want to be more specific.

I bought my copy directly from the Danish film magazine Ekko. It came as a supplementary DVD (labeled DVD #14 - Nordic Short Films) to issue #50 (September-October 2010). If you contact the journal's office, they will mail you it directly with an invoice. You can also contact me at liebestoded2 at gmail dot com and I can give you more information, if that's helpful.
