Right after the incident on New Year's Eve, Hjalmar is taken before court following his voluntary testimony at the District Attorney's office, nevertheless, in this mockery of a trial, it is quite evident that the crime kingpin's confession is a blatant cover-up for even greater crimes. Under those circumstances, Bjarne who has returned to his job, however, without H.C. Vissing who is in a terrible shape and still haunted by his past, desperately needs Lisbeth's help to prove that both Hjalmar and her father work for the elusive Zemich, even though their relationship is probably damaged irreparably. With Hjalmar behind bars, Ole dreams big and prepares for the grand opening of his Jazz Club, without knowing that the Police of Copenhagen is already orchestrating multiple raids on Hjalmar's nightclubs which end with a Police officer dead and Ole as a murder suspect. As Bjarne's exposé on the Chief of Police, whom Hjalmar has him on his payroll, finally makes the front page of the ... Written by Nick Riganas
