The BAU investigate a mass murder at Synalock, an Internet security company located in Charlottesville, Virginia. Five people were shot, while three others were stabbed. By the severity of the killings, the company's CEO, Adam Werner, was the supposed intended target. They also surmise that despite the different styles of killings, there is only one unsub. When Mark and Mary Dolan are later that day found shot to death in their home, the BAU tie the two sets of murders together, the connection being the Dolan's son, Luke Dolan, who the BAU are certain is the unsub. A nice Morgan/Prentiss moment
29 December 2015 | by LoveIsAStateOfMindSee all my reviews

It was a good episode case-wise but what I really loved was that Morgan/Prentiss scene at the end. I needed that. The canon in my head always had this scene where he tells her that he blamed himself for not being able to save her and even now that she's back, he's constantly scared that he's going to lose her again and we got a scene saying that! Yay! Also, he "Emily-ed" her which is always nice. Okay, so I am pretty satisfied with how the Prentiss fallout has been acknowledged and dealt with. Obviously in fic form it would be long and drawn out and a lot more angsty but in TV episode terms, they have at least mentioned core issues.
