Trivia

DCPI Moore brings Frank "a change of clothes and a Dopp kit" at the hospital. A Dopp kit is a men's toiletry kit, generally containing shaving tackle, deodorant, a comb, and a few other supplies. They became known generically by this name after it was a brand name used by GIs in World War II, although the name is now falling out of use. See more »

Goofs

When Danny and Jackie are interviewing the family of the woman who possibly committed suicide, the woman's brother argues with Danny and tells him to investigate the woman's boyfriend. As he faces off with Danny, he finishes his dialogue with his hands in front of him. However, the next camera shot focused on Danny shows the man with his right hand up and pointing in Danny's face. Also, you can see the side of the man's mouth moving (like he's still shouting), but you don't hear any more dialogue from the man. See more »

If somebody's named Ayla Demir, she's Turkish not Indian.
20 November 2011 | by toprak_artuSee all my reviews

If somebody is named Ayla Demir, you can be sure that person is Turkish, naming a character Ayla Demir and making her Indian is like naming an Italian character Patrick O'Hara. A person named, say Tarik Ziyad can be either Turkish or Arab but both the name Ayla and especially the surname Demir are specific to Turkish. Actually, 'demir' means iron in Turkish. A kind of mistake that is very easy to correct in the age of internet while writing the script. It may seem unimportant if you're unaware of the difference, but if you are, the feeling of reality is gone. Well, that is all I like to mention about the show but since there is the minimum of 10 lines rule I guess I'll have to write another sentence and this is that sentence.
