Fun throwback comedy
10 June 2019 | by lor_See all my reviews

Barrett Blade is in a good mood for this homage to teen comedies, with Alekta Blue in fine form as both sex star and comedienne. It has a similar feel to her smashing Wicked release "Best Day Ever".

With a retainer, wearing glasses and acting ultra-nerdy, Alektra plays a school girl who is demeaned by the Mean Girls in her class, notably Kayani Lei and Nikki Delano. When they find out her parents will be away, they cajole her into letting them throw a graduation party at her home to take place next Friday night, where the film centers for the usual teen antics.

With a bright and cheery pastel color scheme, the movie is surprisingly pleasant and minus the mean-spirited content that often creeps into a Blade opus, notably his latter-day output of massage porn for Gamma Entertainment. Blade pops up alongside Brendon Miller as band members who perform at the party, but the main male stars are Seth Gamble wearing braces and spectacles as a nerdier thatn Alektra foil for the leading lady and Bill Bailey as a big-dicked model.

The makeover of Alektra from nerd to beauty is effective, as she plays it both for sexiness and laughs, while sporting vintage leg warmers.

I especially appreciated the thorough end credits that list nearly all the NonSex extras, usually omitted for a Wicked Pictures release.
