Can God work even in something as corrupt as Hollywood?
I went into this show expecting much less, but I received an almost 100% scriptually accurate, powerful, emotional experience that I believe every Christian must see. Yes, there were "ninja angels", but haven't much weirder things happened in the Bible? What were not debatable, but very clear? Yes. So, for me, watching the Bible stories I grew up with acted out so well brought me closer to God.
To the reviewers who claim the title of "Christians" (and I am not saying you aren't that): do you really believe that the God, who created the Earth and worked through Abram the adulterer, David the murderer, and Zaccheus the corrupt tax collector, cannot also work through a television series? Is he now incapable? Granted, He might not help this production more than He already has, but that's not up to us. And reading 1st Samuel 10b, "Then the Spirit of God came powerfully upon Saul, and he, too, began to prophesy" shows how God used this evil man for His glory as well. So if you didn't like the show, say so; but please do not draw other people, willing to hear the message, away because of your stupid "religious arguments". This could be a crazy awesome tool to stir people's hearts for the Lord.
In other words, thanks for making this show.
