Storyline

Marnie has moved out of the apartment, and is staying temporarily with Shoshanna until she figures out what to do. The move adds an unexpected dimension to Hannah and Marnie's friendship, they who still consider the other a friend despite the fight which resulted in Marnie's decision. This move leaves a logistic hole in Hannah's life, namely who to get as a roommate to pay half the rent. This issue causes an issue in Hannah and Adam's relationship. Jessa, who has been missing for a week, throws a last minute formal dress mystery party. When the purpose of the party is revealed upon Jessa's arrival, Hannah, Marnie and Shoshanna all have differing reactions. It also gives Ray the opportunity to tell Shoshanna his feelings for her, and provides Charlie and Marnie the opportunity to flirt, which neither wants to admit they want to take it to the next level. Girls

Girls; being critically acclaimed and buzzed at Golden Globes for its originality, is a passion project of the creator and the lead actor, Lena Dunham whose creativity and genuine soul is what keeps the series flow frictionless. The series is shot beautifully and the camera work is utterly pleasing which helps seek attention of the viewers. The writing is strong, witty and brutally honest sometimes, which can be inedible for viewers especially for it resonates eerily with reality that we all reside in. The characters or even the actors aren't given priority especially not at the compromise of the storyline which is what makes it different from one's usual sitcom. Addition to that, the series can afford and does offer a wider range where each notes connects and hits to the audience; from humor to intense drama.

Season 01

Each character has evolved in this season satisfying the viewers but has also kept a lot under their sleeve to keep them hungry for more. The season mainly focuses on the love track of protagonist and various episodes of the side characters where things are merely building up for future which seems quite exciting and believe it or not chaotic too.

She Did

It possibly has the most mature climax to a season as it doesn't go out loud (especially the fight between Adam and Lena) and instead keeps it smart and subtle, something that is thought-provoking and up beating at the same time.
