Powers of Ten (1977) (Short)
The opening sequence is similar in concept to Charles and Ray Eames' classic short film.
Three Colors: Red (1994)
The beginning has strong conceptual similarities to the beginning of "Blackhat": Krzysztof Kieslowski's film (1994) showed in a visual, partially animated sequence how human beings were connected by phone cables in the analog age, while Michael Mann's film (2015) shows in 2 similar sequences how we are now connected by the internet and fiber optic cables in the digital age. Both films feature 'surveillance' as a subject: In Kieslowski's film a deviant judge is listening to the private phone calls of his neighbours, while in Mann's film surveillance has become a global norm.
The Insider (1999)
The line "I don't burn people" from The Insider, also directed by Michael Mann.
